Student Visas and Licenses

  • Student Visas - Tier 4 (General) Students
  • This is the route for any person intending to come to the UK for post-16 education
  • The applicant must have obtained a confirmation of acceptance of studies (CAS) from a Home Office approved education provider
  • The applicant must be able to demonstrate English language proficiency normally equivalent to B2
  • The aplicant must be a genuine student
  • The applicant must be able to demonstrate that they have the appropriate level of maintenance funds
  • The applicant must pay the immigration health surcharge
  • The applicant must not fall for refusal under the General Grounds
  • Student Visas - Tier 4 (Child) Students
  • This is the route for children aged between 4 and 17 who wish to enter the UK for their education at an independent school
  • The applicant must have obtained a confirmation of acceptance of studies (CAS) from a Home Office approved education provider
  • The applicant must have the consent of their parent or guardian
  • The applicant must be able to demonstrate that they have the appropriate level of maintenance funds
  • The applicant must pay the immigration health surcharge
  • The applicant must not fall for refusal under the General Grounds
